DHARMA BUM LIFE
Meditation Outreach Program
Red Lotus Society's Meditation Outreach Programs are directed toward our local community and aim to provide lessons and instruction in non-faith based meditation techniques to combat the stress and pressure of modern living, increase focus and attention, as well as providing skills in anger and stress management.
The Dharma Bums promote the practice and awareness of meditation through Red Lotus Society's Meditation Outreach Programs, offering Free Meditation/Yoga Classes at San Diego Public and Private Schools (K-12), San Diego State University, Group Homes for victims of Domestic Violence and Human Trafficking, Local Businesses, and Prisons.
Through its partnership with the Fetzer Institute's Campaign For Love and Forgiveness and KPBS, these community activities encourage contemplation and conversation about how love and forgiveness can effect meaningful change in individuals and society.
