Friday 7:00-8:30PM (In-person only)
Class description:
Recovery Dharma meets every Monday (7:00-8:00PM in the downstairs hall) and every Friday (7:00-8:30PM in the upstairs hall). If you are suffering from addiction of any kind or simply need a safe space on a Monday or Friday night we are here for you!
Recovery Dharma is a global fellowship, which uses the principles of Buddhism (Four Noble Truths, Eightfold Path, Impermanence, Metta (Loving-Kindness), etc.) to promote recovery from addiction and compulsive behavior of all kinds. This program is peer-led and non-theistic. We are open to those with both substance and/or process addictions (gambling, technology use, sex, codependency, etc.). You do not need to be a Buddhist to use these principles, and our meetings can be used alongside other programs. Meetings are inclusive and are open to all genders and those of any religious beliefs or none.
