Congratulations Engaged Buddhist Training Program Participants

Over the past eight weeks, our Engaged Buddhist Training Program participants have dedicated themselves wholeheartedly to the path of practice, study, and service. We are deeply grateful and proud to congratulate this inspiring group for completing the program with sincerity, compassion, and commitment.

Throughout the training, participants immersed themselves in retreats at Hidden Valley Zen Center and Metta Forest Monastery, strengthening their meditation practice and deepening their understanding of mindfulness and awakening. They also completed meditation facilitator training, preparing them to confidently share these practices with others in their communities.

Each week, the group gathered for meaningful discussions on the core teachings of Buddhism, exploring compassion, mindfulness, interconnection, and the path toward reducing suffering. Alongside their studies, participants engaged in community service and maintained a daily meditation practice, bringing the teachings into everyday life through action and awareness.

One of the most beautiful parts of the program was the friendships and sense of community that developed along the way. Practicing meditation and learning Buddhism within a committed group creates a powerful foundation of support, encouragement, and accountability. Walking the path together reminds us that spiritual growth does not happen in isolation, it is strengthened through connection, shared experience, and compassionate friendship. The bonds formed during these eight weeks reflect the importance of Sangha and the value of practicing together with open hearts and mutual respect.

Dharma Bum Temple is incredibly proud of their dedication, openness, and effort throughout these past eight weeks. Their commitment to engaged Buddhism and compassionate living is truly inspiring, and we look forward to seeing how they continue to share the Dharma in the world. Congratulations to all who completed the program.
